Is Demyelinating disease a form of ms or not? i want to know because i was told at last visit i had ms and now on avonexAvonex Avonex prefilled syringe. but on my work note it say i have Demyelinating disease. whats the difference? help please
MS is a Demyelinating disease. I'm not sure why your doctor wasn't specific on your work note. You are on a commonCommon cold drug to treat MS. If you are having an issue with your job about the note, maybe you should ask your doctor to be more specific on the note.
Lenny, please pay attention to the answers the various forum members give you. They've been right on target.
You just need to know that there are a number of different demyelinating diseases, and MS is one of them. If your doctor uses these two things interchangeably, ask him to explain to you what you have. If it's MS, then he'll need to say that on papers he submits.
But I'm sure he already knows that. If not, your lawyer will help. Just listen to these people, because you hire them to help you and that's what they're doing.
