unsure

Hi guys, don't know how many posts we are allowed in a day, but forgot to ask something about mri report that I don't understand.
With my last mri report for spine it says allowing for some artefacts in the lower thoracic cord no obvious focal lesion is seen in the visualized cord, Spondylotic changes are again demonstrated in the spine which appear essentially unchanges on comparison with the previous study. No other new features. (Does anyone know what the last bit means, what are spondylotic changes???????????????)
Can anyone help, thanks

You can post an often as you would like!  Please ask what ever questions you need to have answered and someone here will try to help you.

"Spondylotic changes" would have something to do with spondylosis...a degenerative condition in the spine.  Don't be alarmed by it.  As we age we all tend to have spinal degeneration to some degree, and if there are no changes that is good.

I have spondylolisthesis (a shifted vertebra due to two small fractures)...it sounded awful on in the report bit a little PT and it is just fine.

I hope this has helped...
