thanks for your reply... im 40yr old and smoked for 20yrs 10 or less a day...My neuro is a MS specilist, that was one of the things i was concerned about them being ms lesions.
I just don't get this smoking=lesions thing. I can't find ANYTHING in the literature to support it.
What is your age? I'm sorry if you've been on before and made that clear--I don't remember personal data very well. I see that you have anxiety--and just for the record, that doesn't cause white matter lesions, either.
Your first report doesn't really address where in the white matter the spots are. The second one does but so generally that it's not any use for comparison. So it's hard to say whether or not the reports are similar without actually visually comparing the two to see if the location of the lesions has changed. This, by the way, is something your NEURO ought to do for themselves, rather than just reading a piece of paper. If your neuro does not do that AND persists in blaming white matter lesions on age/smoking in someone who's neurologically sympotmatic, I'd suggest seeking a new neuro.
