within the last week my vision has became very blurry . has anyone tried Lasik surgery and if so what was the outcome? thank you
My mornng double vision is not cause by anything wrong with my eyes or vision, but rather the muscles that control my eye movement. In a word, nystagmus. So I would not be a candidate for laser eye surgery. As has ben said here, you need to find out exactly what is causing your problem.
As to whether or not laser ssurgery is safe for people with MS, it seems to be. Just prior to being diagnosed I had laser eye surgery to tray and correct elevated intraoccular pressure. It ddidn't work, but it didn't cause any MS related problems either.

Ditto what the ladies above have said.
On a side note, I have had a stable prescription for glasses for years and my MS did not affect my optic nerve and despite that the laser folks told me that due to the MS I am not a candidate for laser.

I agree with JJ. The optic nerve, and the vision issues it can cause, will not benefit from laser surgery which only involves the surface of the eyeball itself.
Also, vision correction procedures conducted by reputable professionals require a period of stable vision testing (in other words, a prescription that doesn't change over a period of time) before they'll consider going forward with the surgery. If your vision issues have altered noticeably so recently, I wouldn't think you would qualify.

Visual issues caused by MS eg Optic Neuritis, Nystagmus etc are not solved by Lasik surgery, an MSer definitely can have other visual issue too but i don't think you'll find many MSers that have done Lasik when it wouldn't help solve their MS caused visual problems as well.
With out knowing what your visual issue actually is, it seems rather premature to be considering Lasik after a week of blurry, it could be anything.......get it checked out by your GP or an optometrist in case it's an infection, dry eye, allergy etc.
