40 & pregnant,have heart trouble,& taking lots of pain meds

i am 40 yrs. old an have heart trouble,high blood pressure,thyroid disease,liver functions are high,and have herniated and buldging disc from Mva,and have been taking,methadone,lorcet,some,& xanax for 12 years,an i'm terrified,With my health and all the meds i take,would it be better to have an abortion? I am 8 weeks, and i don't know what damage i've already done to the baby,and for the past 2 days have have some chest pains,I need any advice i can get,if i detox off everything but the methadone and xanax what could that do to the baby? I honestly did not plan this,but want to do what's best,Do you have any advise?PLEASE very, very, concerned.Thanks

You should schedule an appointment with an obstetrician to discuss what the risks are to both you and the baby if you continue the pregnancy given your current medical condition and medications.  The obstetrician will make an assessment of your health and how pregnancy might affect it, and will also assess how all the medications you are on might affect the development and monitoring of the baby.
