I just need reassurance.

I have posted in the past about using xanax the first trimester of my pregnancy and I did have the targeted ultrasound, they called it an anatomy scan and everything came back fine. I of course have not taken xanax in a while and will not take it again but even with the doctor who did the ultrasound said the chances of something being wrong because of that is slim to none I can't help but be worried and would like to know what your thoughts are? With the anatomy scan can they see a lot of birth defects that a regular ultrasound can't? I am just being peranoid and want my little girl to be healthy and want to believe that she is by what the ultrasound doc and my obgyn say. What doo you think?

The fact that the "anatomy scan" was normal is reassuring.  Although ultrasound cannot detect all abnormalities, the chances of a structural problem are minimized if scans are normal.
