what is the relationship between high platelet count and nephrotic symdrome?

Hi there. High platelet counts or thrombocytosis occurs in certain underlying conditions like infection, inflammation, surgery, anemia , cancer. In  Nephrotic syndrome also you havereactive thrombocytosis. Reactive type tends to cause no symptoms at all. Rarely you may have headaches, chest pain, weakness and dizziness, temporary vision changes, tingling sensation in hands and feet. More typical is to find symptoms of nephrotic syndrome rather than the high platelet counts which is the reason it is discovered through blood tests.
