Pain growing Unbarable

Have been trying for so long to figure out what is wrong with me.  Got some ideas, but no one knows for sure and the horrible part is; I'm hurting more and more and there is no letting up.  I can't even focus at work.  I have epilepsy since 30yrs old.  Have had at least a Grand-Mal a month where my mom says if it could; my neck would do a full circle.  it violently twists to the right over and over.  I am a Kaiser patient and I've gotten so many drugs for so many ideas, but it doesn't seem to be working.  I've gone from all sorts of stomach meds to even Albuterol to now muscle relaxer and Ultracet.  The relaxer and Ultracet help some, but the pain is ongoing now and when the drugs wear off; I hurt so bad and I am constantly dizzy and having like vertigo type symptoms, but it's not vertigo.  At least once a day I feel as though someone is sticking their finger straight into the middle of my neck above colar bone like I'm choking.  I get these vaboom beats in my sternum to leftish area like where that artery might be..  My neckbase and leftish shoulder side hurts so bad and of course especially when I move it.  Now my arms, fingers and ankles, toes are turning icy cold, numb, & tingle.  I think I will just begin to take more f the pain meds to ease it up for now.  I have no idea what is wrong.  I can no longer go to Kaiser as they treat me as though I'm making this up. Does anyone have any ideas? An old visit to Chiro said my 1&2C; 2,3,&4T; 5L were in bad shape.  I can't afford.  Any other ideas?  Currently, I am increasing the Ultracet & Muscle Relaxer Kaiser has decided to try me on to relieve this pain.  They say all tests are perfect. MRI, Blood, EKG. All perfect!  I am glad, but wish I knew why I had to feel this bad. They are tired of me and will run no more tests. I'm on my own now. Sleep seems to be the only time I can enjoy without pain. Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated.Thank you for your time, patience, &care.
Sincerely, Susan

Dear Susan,
MRI for adrenal cortex will not reveal much about the Spine
Radiologist have different body parts mapped for different MRI's.
In case of spine MRI not being done, i would suggest you for a full spine screening. So they will have a brief idea about your full spine and all those regions which would require specific attention, they will focus more on those regions.
I don't know much about Kaiser therapy as it's a different science.
Regarding the cortisone injection, would advice you , for the same, after knowing the spine MRI result.

Dear Susan,
many thanks for giving me an opportunity to give you some opinion.
I can understand as how it feels when the treating people stop believing the patient's problem and think that they are making up the situation.
I would had advised you a MRI of the cervical spine, but you have told me that all the reports are normal.
I would first of all advise you to cut down on Ultracet also as it's got Tramadol, which itself can cause vertigo/giddiness like symptoms.
Also would ask you to meed a proper Physiotherapist  who will ask you specifically to strengthen up the neck and shoulder muscles, so that they can take up the stress in better way.
Basically it's a weakness of the muscles which is manifesting as all the symptoms which you have explained. So physiotherapy will help you a lot.
Also healthy food will help you along with weight reduction.
So a good physiotherapist will really help you.
Feel free to discuss more.
Regards

For some reason, I am in so much pain and my heart is pumping so hard that I can feel it and I can see my chest pumping out.  Today was a real bad day. I don't know what to do. I know that Kaiser will just rule it out to either stress or anxiety, but that's not what I'm feeling. I just want to work and get through the day. I have so much pain somewhere in my back. I can't pinpoint it, but it stops me from just moving.  I can't tell if it's deep inside or lower in the middle where my spine is. I feel a pounding pressure and a coldness in the sternum area of my chest and a feeling like someone is choking me by pushing their finger into my throat.  I refuse to go to Kaiser and be embarrassed so I will just hang in their until it goes away again.
Could you have any thought on why this would be happening??  It's not going to get worse, but it seems to come and go and come and go.  Any ideas?  If you have any idea; please let me know your suggestions as I really have no idea at all.  The symptoms are so many and it seems impossible to narrow it down to anything.  Thank you for your time and care.  Have a Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Susan

Thank you for your time and suggestions. I will see what I can get Kaiser to do. It's pretty difficult. They have their checklists, you know. I guess ruling out the lesser of evils is the best and cheapest way to go first. It's just difficult when symptoms continue and meds for the cheaper diagnosis isn't working. I hate being a continuous pest to them which is how they make you feel at times. Oh well, that's life!  I'm going to try and do some easy stretching and see if it helps a bit.
Again, Thank You!  Have a very Blessed Christmas Holiday with your family!

Thank you for your time to respond. I now know the real cause of all my symptoms as it became clear to me just today.  My nerves are definitely being pinched or crushed or what have you.  I bent over to pick up something and a massive nerve pain came in my L5 area.  It is excruciating.  I almost can't move, but I'm forcing myself to.  I looked at the nerves from my problem areas in the C1&2 area and the L5 area and the T3&4 area.  These are nerves that feed brain, heart, legs and so on which is where my symptoms are.  The tests I've done have all been clear because it isn't a problem with the organs themselves.  It's the nerves not feeding the organs that is causing symptoms no doctor can explain, but to tell me I'm fine and it's all in my head.  That's ok.  I can understand it now. I was curious if you know if there is a difference between an MRI for let's say, kidneys and an MRI for Spinal issues??  Could you see spinal issues on an MRI taken for something else??  I had one in August this year for my Adrenal. Could they see my spine in that MRI?? Since my new pain this weekend, I've decided it's not getting better alone and will see if Kaiser can help me do something to get it fixed.  Maybe even Cortisone shot to numb it as the Tramadol isn't touching this pain.  If you have time; please tell me what you know about MRI's and if they need to be specific to the area to see a problem?  I'd greatly appreciate that!  Thank you kindly!
Sincerely, Susan
