Dear friend,
Treatment for epilepsy is little different than other ailments treatment. It requires a constant follow up and close observations.
The main cause of epilepsy is sudden hyper-charging reflex/impulses being send to the brain, for which the brain behaves in an un-controlled manner , which results into a series of activities, causing epilepsy.
The only way to control it , is to keep it calm and hence we give such types of medicines, which help it to stay relaxed.
Hence dose titration is a must as overdosage can cause hyper sedation and under dose can cause persistent symptoms prevailing inside the brain.
Hence would request you to have a good followup with the treating doctor and , in case of having slightest of doubts, would require you to go for a second opinion.
I will not give any comment on the medications which you are taking, as i have not examined you physically.
Feel free to discuss further.
Regards..
