My wife has the same problem from last two year. She has some white spots in her brain doctors are saying that these lesions are of TB. Doctors are also treating her for that with verious medicines but not much improvement now we are confused weather the diagnosis is correct. we have allready done LP test and various MRIs. Is their any other diagnosis process to make sure that we are treating with the right medicine.

thanks & regards

Dear lopho,
Many thanks for posting this question through this forum.
Let me give you a brief list of differential diagnosis of the same.
1) Multiple Sclerosis.
2) Small focus of abscess/Infection.
3) Neurofibromatosis.
4) Arachnoid Cyst.
5) Leukoencephalopathy.
6) Due to Hypertension.
7) Migrane.
8) Senile.
9) Idiopathic.
These are the few diagnosis.
They need to be co-related with the blood test/MRI or CT scans as well as Signs and Symptoms to arrive at the correct diagnosis.
