Ms symptons normal mri

Ms symptons normal mri

I'm  a 37 year old female and have had burning feet, and face pain prior 2007.  Then June 2007 I had bilateral face lasting 7 weeks, tingling hands and feet and groin, numbness and burning in feet, twitching, vertigo. Had a mri of brain and spine June 2007 then repeat in December on a 1.5 T, then repeat again January 2008, as well as a negative L.P.

My first neuro said its not ms, and my second neuro says it looks like it is due to everything else being ruled out.
I had another repeat mri on a 3 T just last Friday of the cervical spine and brain, and all normal again.

I still have the dizzy feeling inside my head, like I've just stepped off a boat and am still rocking, under both feet are numbish, but not numb to touch, and in the heat the pins and needles returns in my feet, my back burns when I'm walking around, and I get cold spots all over like someone is touching me with an ice cube.

If I touch my leg or arm somewhere I can feel it inside in a different spot.  When I walk sometimes it feels like I am a giant and I can hear my footsteps pounding in my head.

I'm at my wits end, should I still be worried about ms?
Could it still be ms, and because I have only had 1 bad attack, damage isn't showing yet on mri?
Or with 4 clear mri's over 2 years, and the latest being that off a 3T could I almost rule out ms now?

Do you have any advice where I should go now????????

Thanking you,
Melissa

Dear Melissa,
I am sorry for a late response as i was out of station.
First of all, please get all the doubts or suspicion out of you mind that you have some big disease inside you. With this positive thought, 50% of the symptoms will disappear.Till now all of your MRI's were normal.Even the 3 Tesla machine didn't showed aything abnormal. The diagnosis of this disease is made by the Neurologist as per the signs and symptoms along with the MRI findings and the Blood test(if required).SO if your Neurologist is saying "All's well" then trust him in it and remove the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
I understand that you are having some unexplainable symptoms. But this can be easily co-related with the stress/sleep deprivation that you must be experiencing due to this diagnosis.
If you feel that your treating doctor is not appropriate, please din't hesitate to take a second opinion.Since i have not physically examined you , i can't say that MS is 100% ruled out.In medical feild, we can't rule out any condition by 100%, but atleast probability  can be ruled out.Same in you case.
So relax,Get good sleep, and do exercises and trust your treating doctor.Feel free to ask us more, whenever required.
Regards
