Vibration in Body

Vibration in Body

37 healthy F 5'4" 120 lbs. 3 months ago I had a bad night muscle cramp in my left calf, started having ongoing muscle spasms in that calf area. Primary Dr. sent me to an ortho surgeon. MRI of my left calf - normal. Sent to a Vasualar surgeon which findings were negative (though he had a very hard time finding 'heart beat' on left foot).

1 month ago I started getting 'vibration' feelings in both my legs when I lay down to go to bed (starts about 30 min. after I lay down). It literally feels like I have a motor inside my body, sometimes I get it in my lower back & heart area but always is present in legs when this is happening. I do not feel this sensation when I am up moving around (RLS does not seem to fit though?)
Had Brain MRI (findings were a "5mm left anterior frontal deep white matter hyperintense focus, nonspecific"-otherwise normal Brain MRI with and w/out contrast). Neurologist I was referred to states he is "not concerned about findings."

I CANNOT sleep! I take a muscle relaxer (which was prescribed by ortho surgeon when I was having localized left calf spasms 3 months ago 350mg SOMA at night) which lasts about 3 hours and then I am awakened by these "vibrations." Dr. says he won't prescribe a sleep aid as they are addicting (which I understand but I can't sleep!). Prior to all of this happening I am someone who visits the Dr. one time per year for my annual pap, I am not a hypocondriac, but I am concerned about my symptoms. I feel the lack of sleep in sending my nerves into even more distress and becoming a vicious cycle. I did not have stress in my life prior to these symtpoms.

Two things I would like to note is that I was in a car accident 6 months ago and receiving chiro. treatment for this (lower back and neck). As well as these 'horrible vibrations' started 3 days after I obtained my yearly flu shot (regular shot, not the H1N1).

Any advice is greatly appreciated on where else I can start narrowing my search.
Thank you.

Dear Nikki,
It's a complex triad of 3 things.
1)Your Lower back and neck needs proper workout.
2)Your chiro did a good work as some nerves are getting pinched.
3) The stress part is making the condition worse.
So stop thinking....Start the basic,
a) Daily morning walk
b) Do neck and back physiotherapy properly on daily basis.
I hope you got my answer,
Regards
