White Matter lesions

White Matter lesions

I was in a car accident in April 09 I recieved a Mild TBI, I started having headaches a couple days later. I have been seeing a Neuro DR. since the accident and MS has been ruled out I was DX with TBI with Migraines with aura, I have had a black or dark spot in my right eye since the accident that does not move it is in the central vision, I have been to eye DR. floaters wre ruled out and sent on my way I am in the Military so we don't have a lot of say when it comes to our care. I have lesions in the occipital lobes left side and frontal lobes which were found on mri w/contrast I don't have that reading but I do have the one with out contrast- focal areas of increased signal intensity were demonstrated in the left occipital posterior to the occipital horn. there were scattered foci of increased signal intensity demonstrated throughout both cerebral hemispheres.periventricular increased foci was demonstrated on the right signal wthin the brainstem and the cerebral lobes appear normal.there is a round ovoid area of signal void lateral to the optic nerve. the optic nerve on the left does not appear compromised.the area of signal void appears to blend in with the adjacent sphenoid sinus and in thought to represent atypical sphenoid aeration. My vision is getting worse in right eye and I just finished cognitive testing with psychologist which said I had ADHD, I think this is all wrong but what can I do? I never had any problems until this accident and it has ruined my life. My short term memory, seizures, tremors, falling, migraines 2 to 3 a week, headaches all the time, social skills, depression and I can't drive anymore I just need help before something happens to me , not getting the care I need and I am worried. any advice would help....thanks

Dear wtaylor,
There are too many positive findings in your case.Well i can really tell you, is please trust your doctor. However , if you have a slightest doubt about him, please change your treating doctor fast. Also, as per the details provided, it's a combined team of doctor, that you require.Merely one doctor won't be able to help you out.
Also try to get some time out from your busy schedule. Just ask yourself-Post accident, except for the treatment part, were you able to spend few days with yourself or the family.I hope you understood as what i meant?
Regards,

I would like to change Docs but the Military does not like that and will not let you most of the time. What other areas would you advise me to seek treatment in? and do you think I have a chance for recovery? I do appreciate our reply

Dear Friend,
You are not ill, so recovery is not an issue.Just take a little time off from the schedule and spend with your family, if military allows.
