waking up fully after meengioma surgery

Hi ...
less than 36 houres ago my dad had a menengioma sergry .it was a Lemo size , and said they were sure thy damaged something ..
I am so worried that he is not waking up , he woke up for seconds .. then went back to sleep ..
we stil don know wht was damaged . he ate little bit yesterday .. 1 spoon of yogort .. but he wasnt really awake .
I need to know .... is it possible that the current setuation permenant ? and never really fully wake up ???
And .. He cried and smiled for seconds when he saw my sisters .. and almost hugged mom and put his hand on her hair and started crying ..then back to sleep ...
can that be a good sign ???? please answer me ...

Dear Friend,
I can't tell anything till 72 hours have passed by.
In these sort of situations, best opinion can be provided b y the treating doctor.
If all went right in the surgery, he will surely wake up in 72 hours, that's all i can say.
So would request you all to keep your finger crossed and pray.
