3rd & 4th nerve palsy & ptosis .

After an head injury, my left eye developed 3rd & 4th nerve palsy with ptosis.Eyelid was closed completely.
This was 2 years back. Since then i am taking neurobion tablets twice daily. Now, I am taking optineuron injections twice a week & neurobion tablets twice daily. The eyelid is opening around 65%.
I wear left eye patches for the whole day.

I would like to know medicines to enhance the nerves functioning & give them a booster in any form.
I was taking Citistar by Lupin, Adtrol plus, kinetal, eptoin by Abbot--twice daily for 2 years.
Now i am on Citistar only.
Does anyone have any suggestions about multivitamins, any medicines, capsules, tablets, other supplementary methods, vegetables & fruits to eat, acupressure, etc etc?
Any exercises that i can do?
Any thing that will help in fast recovery?
I will be very thankful for your help in bettering my condition with your valuable suggestions.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your question. Although without being able to examine you I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis and treatment that you need, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern.

I do sympathize with your concern. As you have tried all the medications, I would suggest consulting an ophthalmic surgeon in this regard since ptosis can be corrected by surgery if this is interfering in vision or for cosmetic concern. Eyelid muscles that help in elevation & lowering down the lid may be surgically corrected by the procedure after surgeon assesses the status. Hope this information proves helpful to you.

Take Care & Regards!!!

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Yes, my opthalmologists, squint specialists & neurosurgeons are also of the same opinion that i will need two surgeries - one for the eyelid muscle & another for ptosis.
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me.

On the fly, do you suggest any multivitamins or exercises or fruits apart from "Becosules" & "Seven Seas-cod liver oil "capsules?
I am thinking of taking vitamins A,C & E.

Do you happen to know of any reputed Indian vitamin brands that are high in content in their nutrients/ vitamins for A,C or E?

Again,Thank you very Much.

Thank you for your query again. I would suggest consulting your doctor first since these multi-vitamins can only help in improving the neurological disorder condition due to vitamin deficiency. In your specific ptosis concern, surgery will be the mainstay of treatment & multi-vitamin will help at the time of recovery/achieving the nerves strength. Take Care & Regards.
