Hello.
Try sleeping on your side. If your symptoms reduce, it shows you may be having sleep apnea. It is a condition where breathing stops (apnea) for about 10 second several times during the sleep (mostly in supine position) and you get the feeling that you have not had enough sleep. You don't wake up feeling fresh.
A polysomnography (sleep study) will be helpful in the final diagnosis. Weight reduction will help the situation.
Sleep apnea is a treatable condition. If treated in the mild stages, there is a good chance of a remission.
