In 1987 I underwent anteriorAnterior cruciate ligament (acl) injury Anterior knee pain Anterior vaginal wall repair cervical surgery to c4/5 c5/6. This surgery was advised by a leading Neurosurgeon in Sydneys best hospital after years of a "qualified" chiropractor and his wife told me I needed at least two visits a week,(this was rough manipulation where sometimes I thought I was seeing stars) to re-align my spine, and after almost two years (and their new yacht) later my discs were totally wrecked.
After surgery, all my arm and chest pains disappeared completely and even my vision showed a marked improvement. My problem arose within 1 week of my surgery, a sickly pressurePressure ulcer headache at the base of my skullCranial ct scan Malignant otitis externa Skull Skull anatomy Skull of a newborn Skull of an adult Skull x-ray, which over the next twentyTwenty twenty years has been a burning, pressurePressure ulcer headache but only on the left side of my headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury with the back of my neck painful and stiff. This was diagnosed by a UK neurosurgeon as "cluster headaches", he showed no interest at all re my previous surgery. Was this headache brought on by the surgery. I can't remember having more than two or three bad headaches in my whole forty years before this. Do you think I should push for more investigation, or accept the fact that the rest of my life will be blighted by this constant headache which is enough to drive a person insane. No medication touches it so far. Can you give me any hope at all, I am desperate!
