1 Month growth, Please Help??

by sailaway, Aug 30, 2008 10:53AM
I had an MRI done which revealed an occipital lobe lesion. My report says that it is either Cortical Dysplasia or a Low-grade tumor. How can they not know the difference. My doctor thinks it is a birth anomoly but I'm seeing alot of floaters in my vision and squiggly lines, pins and needles all over. I had a MRI 1 month later w/no change, but still am not convinced. Which it have grown in a month if it was malignant??

Hello sailaway,

The chances of malignancy are relatively less. It seems that it is due to the cortical dysplasia and more so a case of brain degeneration. Conult your neurologist for further course of action.
