10 year old spinning excessively

My ten year old daughter has always liked spinning in circles, but for the last month she has been doing it what I would consider to be excessively.  If she is watching cartoons, at every commercial break she jumps up and spins for the duration.  At school her teacher says that she spends her entire recess alone and spinning, unless redirected.  She seems content not to spin when she is otherwise actively engaged, but when she isn't, she is spinning.  She has also started tipping her head to the left while spinning, flapping her hands, and periodically throwing in this odd hopping maneuver.  After spinning at high speed for several minutes in this way, she just stops and walks off in a straight line without showing any signs of dizziness.  She says she feels fine and she's not spinning to feel better, that she just likes the way it feels to do it.  What finally made me decide to write was that today she had a really bad headache, which is not usual for her, and said that she felt nauseous.  All those elements taken together are making me a little nervous.

Sounds like mild autism perhaps? Something along the autism spectrum is what comes to my untrained eye.

Hi...I would be just as concerned as u r...and would push for testing by her drs.
