10 year old with muscle twitching all over.

My daughter has been diagnosed with complex partial disorder, high functioning autism, etc.  In the past couple of  days she  has had uncontrollable muscle twitching all over her body.  It is not at the same time.  It is as if her muscles take turns, but it is one after the other.  It is very odd to watch.  Most of the twitching is taking place in the backbone and knees.  It also takes place in her arms and legs or just all over.  She says it hurts her shoulders sometimes.
She is taking Keppra for her seizure disorder.  She is suppossed to have an extended EEG.  I am waiting on her neurologist to call.  I am not  for sure if this is a different kind of seizure or if this is related to the autism.   I really don't think most of this is related to the autism.   I am getting kind of worried because she is doing this all the time in the past couple of days.
At school her teacher say's she doesn't notice, but I know it happens because she is getting picked on by the other kids in her class.  I think her teacher either does not care or does not have time to watch Haley to see if she is doing this.
When I usually  call her regular physician he will usually say it is nothing to worry about or her will tell me to go to her neurologist.    The problem is her neurologist is more than two hours away and  it is really hard to get in to see her because she stays so busy.  I could take her to the hospital where her neurologist is.  It is hard to tell whether or not this could be seizure or not and I don't want to feel like an idiot if I take her all that way.  The doctors around here where Iive act as if they don't know how to treat seizures or don't understand her condition.  I know that anxiety plays a roll in all this, but this just does not look normal even for anxiety.     I am just so confused and tired of people who don't understand what it is like living like this.  I just wish the next time someone says she is doing it on purpose for attention or it is from anxiety that they live with what she has to deal with for one day.

There are a wide variety of seizures. The Keppra obviously is not working. Speak to the neurologist about other choices. Has she taken any other medications in the past? What? Autism alone does not cause seizures and this is not from autism but seizures can be associated with autism which is a developmental disability that affects people in a variety of ways. There are many other anti-seizure medications but only her neurologist can advise you which would be the right one for her. An EEG is neccessary but also you should keep track of when these seizures occur and under what circumstances and explain it to the neurologist to help them understand it.

What I meant from the autism is that she does a lot of hand flapping.  She will flap her arms and  make her elbows touch and knock her knees together.  She is a sensory seeker.  She is always on the move.  She has to touch, smell, lick everything.  The muscle twitching is different I believe.  I don't know if I would even describe it as muscle  twitching.   I am  not for sure the right word to use.  Muscle contraction or spasm.  You would just have to watch it to see it.  I can't believe she's not in pain when she is doing this because sometimes she moans or makes some kind of noise with her mouth.  It looks painful, but she said it doesn't hurt.  Maybe she is not aware it is happening and they are small seizures.  I am definitely calling the doctor tomorrow and the neurologist.

The  thing with her medicine is she is very sensitive to medication and has a lot of side effects from  it.  She is on a very low dose.    I am scared to put her on a higher dose because she has had alot of mental side effects.
She did have an  EEG last July, but it only picked up the complex-partial  seizures.  I  am hoping we will get to do the extended EEG soon.  If these are seizures it is happening most of the day.   I hope they are not, but I still worry.
