10yr old reflexes not working

by carlasnow, Oct 23, 2007 06:07PM
have a 10 year old daughter who has recently had a physical examination.  During this examination i noticed that when stimulated her right tendon reflex worked but her left one didn't nor did the ones in both her arms.  When the back of the hammer was pulled across the center/bottom of her foot, she had no reaction and told me that she did not feel the instrument.  Any ideas on what could possible cause this would be appreciated as i am totally perplexed by this.
