20 month old having fever seizures

My 20 month old grandson has had 9 seizures in 11 months, some with fever, some he developed fever afterwards and THE LAST ONE WITH NO FEVER AT ALL. He has seen a pediatric neuroligist one time a few months ago and after the last seizure we called them and they have put him on meds. All they have done is an eeg and a lumbar puncture.They have told us they are febrile seizures and they are nothing to worry about but i am not sure because they keep happening and he sometimes takes a couple of days to recover, motor skills, balance. It seems like when he has a seizure he takes a couple of steps backwards he is so clumsy and falls ALOT. also several of his seizures happen when is tempature is around 99 to 100. I don't think they are taking this serious enough (his doctor) and I wonder if there are more test that can be done? If you have any answers or sugestions please help. Thanks

I think what you are describing is atypical seizures. You should be evaluating with help of Pediatric neurologist.
If you don’t get any response from current doctors you should be changing your son's neurologist and get your son re-evaluated.
I recommend you to do imaging study with EEG too to evaluate the cause of seizures.
