20 year old with ALS symptoms, emg and ncv scheduled but...

I am a african american college student. For as long as I can remember, I've had popping joints pretty much everywhere on my body, but now I have a specific one that is scaring me. I believe I am experiencing foot drop in my left foot, as it and the leg from the knee down feels tight but can still move both, no paralysis or change in motion, except it feels a little off when walking, and when I stretching it, no matter the stretching a popping sound can be produced. I've had body wide twitching for about 5 months, but I have lots of them in that area, and now some veins that weren't there are showing up. I went to a neuro with my issues a few days ago, but all he did was check for any umn issues with. a clinical, but also made me walk in a straight line. According to him, my reflexes seemed fine and nothing stuck out to him, but he ordered the emg, mri and ncv to make sure. I've also been experiencing lip twitching, side of head twitching, and palm twitching. I have always had slight health anxiety, and have had issues involving my digestive system, numbness and tingling, eye floaters and heart palpitations. Does this sound like als?

With the increased weakness in your muscles of your legs,  the twitching in  your palms and hands and the recent development of you foot drop  The doctors will want to perform an EMG/NCV to rule out a more complex condition.

If your are having fasciculations or "muscle twitch", is a small, local, involuntary muscle contraction and relaxation which may be visible under the skin.a fee liking like muscles jumping or skin crawling on your legs

Please make your doctor aware of this before the study.
