  I was given trazadone for sleep; I believe 50 mgs at night; and
  although it worked, I experienced, during the day a feeling that
  I could see small particles floating on my eyes.  This has
  never happened to me before. I discontinued the med 2 weeks later
  as this feeling did not go away.  3 weeks later from that date; I
  still see these things ALL THE TIME; I simply have to peer through
  them. I want to know what happened to me and if it will go away.

Thanks for the question. I can't say I have ever heard of this sidde affect with trazodone. The PDR lists blurred vision and red itchy eyes but nothing else. Certainly the time frame fits. I would recommend that you have an eye exam by an optholmologist to make sure you do not have an underlying retinal problem. Good luck
