faceFace pain to another? I've had pain across one side of my
faceFace pain; now it seems to be spreading to different places on the other side.
3.) Can hot and/or cold pads help reduce the pain?

Toothaches grinding can increase the pain from TN. Pain from TMJ is sometimes confused with TN. Many patinets also report that brushing their

Toothaches makes the symptoms worse.
2.) TN is usually localized to one side of the face. Cases of bilateral symptoms do occur but are rare. If you develop bilateral symptoms an MRI scan should be completed if not previously done. Often times bilatreal TN has been associated with connective tissue abnormalitiessuch as scleroderma or mixed connective tissue disease. A rheumatologist can help with this.
3. hot and cold packs? if it helps use it if not don't - everyone is different.
