have been having lt sided headaches which are worse with posturalPostural drainage changes, sneezing etc. Also have hot flashes. CT scan showed osteoma 13mm in lt frontal sinus but also moderate cerebral and cerebellarAcute cerebellar ataxia atrophy. What things would be on your differential list?
Headaches that worsen on postural changes or sneezing, coughing etc. may be due to increased intracranial pressure. Coughing and sneezing increase the intracranial pressure further. Please consult a neurologist . Your ICP needs to be monitored to confirm the diagnosis. Causes of an increased ICP are brain tumours, brain swelling, increase in venous flow, obstruction to CSF flow or an increased production of CSF. Since you have an Osteoma, it may be causing the increased ICP and thus headaches. The causes of hot flashes are- Testosterone deficiency or Andropause. Please consult an endocrinologist for the investigations and diagnosis. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
