Hello,
Does anyone recognize a seizure behavior where the eye's roll up involuntarily.
My 8 year old daughter has experienced this for several days increasing in frequency during the day adding up to perhaps a hundred events in 12 hours. They last not much longer than the blink of an eye. I observe some (not a lot) movement of the
faceFace pain, so the events look more involved than just her looking up with her eyes. Both eyes go all the way up leaving mostly white with a small cresent of her retinas looking slightly crossed.

Dear Dan:
I am sorry to hear about your daughter. The answer to your question is yes. Not examining your daughter, it is somewhat difficult to say, but my feeling is that at the very least you need to rule out the possibility that this is seizure activity. I would see a pediatric neurologist or better yet a pediatric epileptologist. She will need an
EEG. I would do this sooner than later. If you are in the Cleveland area, we would be happy to see her. You can call 1-800-CCF-Care for an appointment. But, preference aside, any good pediatric neurologist or epileptologist can help you. Let us know what happens.
Sincerely,
CCF Neuro[P] MD
