9 mm syrinx inside spinal cord.HELP

hi,i believe syringomyelia is a syrinx inside the spinal cord and what probable causes it can affect,my daughters is  T6-T11 but she also has a rare muscle disease which affects her mobililty.i know that syringomyelia can affect different areas of the spine which can in fact affect different parts of the body.as my daughter has a muscle disease its difficult to determine which is causing her problems.her syrinx is 9 mm in her thoraic.is there anybody with similar complications

My daughter also has Syringomyelia.  It is frightening for your child to have a spinal cord condition, but I know that many can live normal lives.  I hope you do decide to join the Chiari/Syringomyelia community!
