My 9 yr. old son has had two MRI's, but as of now his doctors are confussed as to what his condition may be. Both showed sever brain inflammation in the right hemsphere only. The left side is totally uneffected. Also, on the right side there is a large "
brightBright beginnings white streak" going from the frontal lobe to the back of the brain (completely)within the white matter area of his brain. Within this white streak there are several small

First-testosterone mc diagnosis was a possible brain tumor, but they are now leaning away from that diagnosis and the only other possiblity(from his Pediatrician/Psychologist)is possible demylenation disease. He has also had 2
EEG's and they both came back "with high spikes that is
commonCommon cold in random testings".
In the past he has been diagnosed with ADHD as well as
TourettesGilles de la tourette syndrome Syndrome. His Nuerosurgeon has elimenated the TS diagnosis, but my son still experiences complex motor(sudden jerking, twisting, jumping)and complex vocal(odd sounds, repetitive, inappropreat words)"tic's". From my understanding (his doctor has been unavailable to discuss this as of yet) these "tics" could be focal(partial or complex partial)seizures. Is it possible for TS and seizure to mimic each other? He does suffer from frequent stomach aches.
As of now his Neuro's are sending the MRI's to different doctors and so far all baffled, mainly due to the localization in the right hemisphere only.Any help or response at all will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Also, if anyone knows of any websites where I can posts his MRI's for others to observe, that would be most helpful.
