A feeling of cold spots on certain parts of body.

Hi. I was on Niaspan for 2 weeks when i started to break out in hives and the flushing, so i was taken off of that cold turkey now i have been having this weird feeling like certain cold spots on hands and legs. feels like i took a cold wash rag and washed that certain spot. ive noticed today some itching also and was wondering if this had anything to do with me being taken off of Niaspan. also before taking Niaspan ive been tingling and numbness in hands and feet and also on side of face. The reason i was put on Niaspan was for my cholestrol. I am 35 yrs  old. I have arrythmia, had ablation surgery which was 4 yrs ago. Last summer i had a spell of my whole right side of just my face getting a feeling like thousands of needles pricking me. So Dr put me on Niaspan because he thought it might be due to heart not beating right and causing a clot and me having a stroke. Which i went to my Cardioligist and he said that it was not the case. So in February i go to a Neuroligist. But do you thing the weird cold spots could be because of withdrawls fom the Niaspan. Thanks for any info.
