A nerological mystery almost 15 years in the making

I'm hoping to get help in possiblities of what could be occuring to me.  I was 19 yrs old when my first episode begain of what they deemed "tremors" in which is like a seizer but I'm fully conious for. They had tessted me when I was brought to the ER the fist time I had a temp of 102 and Acute Strep Throat. I was sent to many nerologists in my city and none could figure anything out. It starts in my lower back only warning I get is how my lower back uhrts a certain way I must lay down and rest. It goes to my legs as well effecting my ability to walk properly as well as my hands at times. They ruled out MS, Huntington's CHotrea and Chorea. They stop when I got to sleep at night. This comes and goes no warning of when it is to begin really and can last anywhere from a few hourse to some 4 months streight. In the past there was no pain in my lower back when it would occur until more recent years I have sever pain with them. Every Dr. I am sent tests my brain and all that was found on recent MRI's was a pine needle shaped cyst on my Peanl gland which is reported as stable. The past few years I now have more nerolgical issues as last year the entire right side of my body head to toe goes numb after about a month I start gaining some feeling back and lose more motor skills in my hands. I am right hande so its been difficult I feel it could possibly be connected but unsure. All I hear about my "tremors" is that they know its not life threating. For me its been very diffcult and now with losing abilitiees I once had and also have started noticing other patterns of thought and rembrance beging to not be as good as they once were. My maternal grandmother had a smiliar issue only when walking across the floor and not nearly as sever. I have been recorded during these episodes for students even to try to help come up with what it possibly could be. I have read now a few of the posts here and it sounds simallar and is at least nice to know I'm not alone in this at last as I had felt as if there had to be someone else out there going through the same hing I am. So if anyone has any idea if the two could be connected or are they seprate? This past year the most recent was while at work the whole store went purple and black and it felt as if my heart was racing. I slowly sat myself down on the concrete floor as soon as it becsme clear my right side from the head to the stomach on the right side went numb. It stayed numb again for at least a month and I still have some parts numb in my right side today.and lost more ability in my right hand . Its been very frustrating not knowing anything. It's getting to the point where typing and hand writting are getting harder. I am now 33 yrs old annnd to think all this possibly stared at 19yrs old withe strep throat seems so difficult to belive but guess most anything is possible. I've lost many friends over the years as noone can understand this I go through .So any help would be great to at least point in a different directiion as I fear one day losing my motor skillls all together and unable to stand as well to do keep working.

I would suspect an HERV-W infection. This is only a guess.

These infections cause the immune system to become "hyperactive" and to attack brain cells, conduction pathways and neural sheaths progreesively and inexorably. The end result may be dementa, psychiatric disorders and sometimes Parkinson-like symptoms.

Usually there must be a major infection to trigger activation of the HERV organism.

You happen to be in luck because it has been found that some of the treatments for HIV can stop the progression of this disorder.
