: I've been having problems with dizziness and vision for some time now and I have one question that perhaps you can help me with. Since I'm a very "worrying" person by nature, I've started to think that it might be a brain tumor. I've done an MRI and an EEG in 1996 that showed nothin, and my symptoms have become a bit worse since that, not much but still worse. Is it possible that I could have a tumor that didn't show on an MRI?
  Thank you

It is highly unlikely that you could have a symtomatic brain tumor
which did not show up on MRI, MRI is an excellent way to image the brain and
can pick up tiny problems like strokes , tumors or patches of inflammation.
The symptoms you describe are quite non-specific and could be explained by a
large number of possible causes, even without the MRI scan a brain tumor
would not be high on my list of possibilities.
Another point is that if you had symptoms due to a brain tumor since 1996
it would probably be causing very dramatic symptoms by now.
If your symptoms persist you midgt want to have a re-evaluation,
at least to the extent of a neurological examination in the near furure.
