AVM

AVM

We accidentally found AVM in the left frontal middle temporal lobe fro my 12 year old son. Nidus 11mm X6mm.
suggestion from the doctor was to remove it through surgery. I would like to know the complications as this may be in the speech area.  I am also finding that Stereo tactic radio surgery as an option but may take long time.

I am concerned post operative conditions as to make sure he will not have any long term problems. Any answers to my Confusion and how long I can delay to intervene and remove the AVM. Also will there is a possibility of re occurrence.

Thanks,
Venkat
