any family history of strokes/dimentia/depression/migraines ??? ask your Doctor about CADASIL as it relates to your brain MRI results ...
good luck and GOD be with you ...
This is only my opinion: as well as with what I've personally experienced.
I have a MS diagnosis. It took 3 yrs to be diagnosed; it's true they don't easily diagnosis for MS.
After treating with CRAB drugs for years; I began reading and researching the relationship between MS/Lyme disease.
I went to a lyme literate doctor: he ordered a Western Blot--this test includes all the bands(not an ELSIA that doesn't include all the bands).
Although I tested "negative" by CDC criteria-I do have specific lyme bands that are positive and IND, my doc "clinically diagnosed" me with lyme; included were my symptoms and orderd new MRI's, bloodwork etc.. and is treating me with antibiotics. I am beginning to get my life back!
So, what can I offer? READ and EDUCATE yourself. BECOME your own advocate, ask questions and make sure IF you are tested for lyme.....the test is reliable( there are other ways to test...not just an ELSIA... to the point of offering you the correct diagnosis.
Best to you,
tory
Hi I'm sorry about your symptoms. I hope that there will not be anything bad. When you say headaches? Are they like shooting headaches, back of neck to the eye, neck to ear, tightness in neck toward head, also do you have pressure in head? Or are they like regular headaches? I also have a lot of concerns with my symptoms but when I read the postings here it seems like it takes several opinions to confirm an MS as MS is not diagnosed so easily and different doctors may have different opinions on the subject. Do you get numbness tingling all over your body? If just facial area and toes it may be just from pinched nerves. Wishing you the best and everyone else a long healthy life.
