I was diagnoses with an acousticAcoustic neuroma Acoustic trauma neuroma on December 2006, since then I have being dealing with the loss of balance and diziness. We chose the watch and wait since it was not growing... Last month I had another MRI with contrast and they found out it has grown about 1 cm in 6 months. What are the options in this case. Thank You
The treatment options always depend upon the initial size of the acousticAcoustic neuroma Acoustic trauma neuroma when it was diagnosed. If it was very small and now has grown 1cm in six months, it is growing at a good pace.
You should consult a neurosurgeon and get his opinion on removal of the tumor.
