Acupuncture

Hello all,
Just curious if anyone here has tried acupuncture to solve migraines... I would like to try something non medicinal for a change, seeing as how none of the medications have worked. I have an appt this wkend to get acupuncture and I was reading up on the risks earlier and they all seem to say that the risks are very very rare. Any success with acupuncture? Any bad side effects? Also it seems that the risks mostly come from practitioners that are not reputable, I hope I have chosen well, it says she has 20 yrs experience and went to school in China.
