to indicate that this procedure triggers the release of endorphines from
the

Nerve conduction velocity terminals, thus acting as an analgesic. You did not indicate
whether other tests were performed to evaluate your spine problem. In
particular, an electromyography (EMG) would be helpful in evaluating the
degree of nerve lesion caused by the disc problems. If there are signs
of actual spinal cord or nerve root damage, your physician should consider
the possibility of surgical intervention, and not just symptomatic treatment
with analgesics or anti-inflammatory agents.
