Acute Demyelinating Encephalomyelitis

A ten year boy was diagnosed having Acute Demyelinating Encephalomyelitis few years back. After the treatment he became alright.But after some time he suffered relapse. This process is continuing every few months.Recent  brain MRI states "Multiple foci of abnormal signal intensities in the white matter of both cerebral hemispheres as well as in the cerebellum(periventricular region) In comparison to previous MRI dated 10.01.07 these lesions are fresh and are not seen in the previous scan.The lesions seen in the previous scan have resolved in the present scan"
The boy is the only child of a poor family. Can you kindly advise
