Adderall made me weak

Adderall made me weak

My question is why would Adderall (adderrall) a stimulant at a low dose (10mg-15mg per day) result in extreme muscle weakness.  It seems as though adderall (adderrall) exagerated something that was already there. I was on it for ADHD  I am off it now, and the weakness actually got worse for a period of time and is just now getting better. (note I had been on a lot of different medications within a short period of time...Cymbalta, ZYPREXA* then off zyprexa back to cymbalta..then off of cymbalta and started adderall (adderrall).  I became weak after about 2 months of adderall (adderrall).  I became wose when I began to lower my dosage.

Also I am experiencing burning and soreness in my neck area. (actually I feel like my neck is coming back to life from being numb!)   I am wondering if I could have done something to my neck.  Currently I feel like I am regaining strength, but I also continue to have tingling sensations in my brain 1 month after being off adderall (adderrall). Could my nerves damaged? I am also extremly IRRITABLE more at night, and have difficulty falling asleep...In other words, I feel stimulated at nightime for whatever reason...  Does anyone have any idea what "COULD" be going on.  I will be working more with my doctor, but I am wondering is there anything in specific I might keep in mind with talking with him?

Interesting story.....I was diagnosed with ADD and was on Adderall (adderrall) for almost 2 years. After about 6 months I started getting strange symptoms and existing unexplained symptoms that I had before were amplifed or stimulated.  I suffered from joint muscle pain, extreme fatigue, extreme pain on the right side of my face/right temple/cheek/nose area and subsequently devolped a perforated nasal septum.  After many doctors there was no conclusive reason as to why I was suffering these symptoms I still felt better in many ways than I had my entire life..but these symptoms were getting worse.

Well long story short and I got yanked off the meds because they said it looks like the Adderall (adderrall) induced some sort of vasculits (despite negative tests).  When they took me off my health has declined terribly and I'm sicker than I've ever been. When I was taken off the meds a pressure began to build in my head and neck that I had previously (it was an intermittent  problem) but now it was relentless. 10 emergency room visits, several misdiagnosed psychiatirc illnesses (bipolar/somatization disorder) and now docs are questioning the ADD diagnosis from the start. It's clear that something has changed in the brain and it's affecting the entire body. I can barely move from bed all day and the pressure in my head can create a myriad of symptoms...extreme fatigue is a norm.

I believe that the Adderall (adderrall) stimulated an already existing problem I had which they ignored for many years. I had not felt better Adderall (adderrall) and when off it I never felt worse. It does not make sense that one gets SICKER after being taken off Adderall (adderrall). Question is...are Doctors missing something?? Are  ADHD symptoms  really another medical issue and when treating with stimulants it HELPS but when stopping it creates more subsequent damage than prior to the administration.

There are a lot of unknowns here......
