Adult Onset Seizures no cause found

Hi, my best friend is 24 yr old with many health problems(rsd,endo,fibro,arthritis in her spine and the list goes on) about two weeks ago she had her first seizure. The dr did an mri and found nothing. Last week her young daughter found her having a seizure and called 911. She was in the hospital for a week(well 2 hospitals) and had an eeg and was trasnfered to have a constant eeg and by the 7th day the hospital told her"we dont care if you have 1 or 10 more seizures today we dont know whats wrong were sending you home follow up with your neurologist." She called her neuro who is seeing her neuropathy pain and he told her" I only see you for that not seizures find antoher dr."! In the mean time she is having multiple seizures a day with a horrible headace and is on the drug neurotin(900mg for fibro). The soonest anyone can get her in is 6 months!! Any ideas what could be causing this?? She never had anything like this before and the hospital said maybe its just stress go see a physcolgist(which Im told happens alot when theres something really serious that they cant find.) So is there anything that comes to mind about what this could be or what she can do for the next 6 months until someone will see her??? Thanks so much!

unfortunately, i went through the same thing, and i did end up having to go to a psych. the only thing is, he kept sending me back to my doctor saying that it was an actual problem, and then my doc would send me back to the psych. I did this so many times, my psych finally gave up and said, ok, if they arnt going to do anything for you, i will. soo, he put me on an anti convulsant. it took a few years for me to find the right dosage, but after that, ive been fine.
im sorry i dont know what to say about your friends issue, except ive been down the same avenue. spent ALOT of time and money going to i dont know how many different places trying to find an answer.
