an unsucessful surgery that made my multiple chemcial sensitivty worse..I have had epilpesy mixed wiht chemical sensitivity sicne I cna remember way back as a child.. I no longer take meds cuz they mad eme worse also,, after a top neuro center they Labled it as REFLEX szs. and was told it's very rare..I was suggested to waer a nose plug to stop the severe brain reactions including szs..and it works BUT I want to know If severing the ol factory nerve would Fix this or make it worse as I was told.. I was told nothing more can be done..I do alternative therepy to stengthen my immune sytem which has lessoned  some of my sensitivity BUT It's not a cure. Time is running out.. I wanna live wihtout losing my mind form chemicals perfumes = brian reactions
IS there a cure to this or do I keep doing and stay with severe reactions from a to z incluidng my partial complex szs.. MEDS ARE OUT. NEED ANSWERS NOT MASKING which I feel made matters worse as I grew up on them. BTW been off meds for 7 yrs now :)))..And this is t best I've been since birth I was told by my last neuro I'm 2 steps ahead of medicine.and nothing more can be done.Thanx for a response.

Multiple chemical sensitivity is outside the field of neirology so
we cannot help there, as regards epilepsy one new treatmet which has
become available is the vagal nerve stimulator. This is a sort of
pacemaker like device, activated by a magnet which is used to treat
complex partial seizures, you should ask your neurologist to refer you
to a center where this is available.
The only other non-medication  treatmants for epilepsy are surgery to
amputate the area of the brain causig the seizures and the ketogenic
diet which is really only used in children.
To review these options you will need to be refered to a specialized
comprehensive epilepsy center.
