After MicroD Feeling of water down backside

After MicroD Feeling of water down backside

Had a MicroD L5-S1 and Laminectomy (forgive my spelling) on 7/22/09. Prior to surgery numbness in heel of foot extending to outside of foot and two toes. Still have numbness which is completely annoying but surgeon said it could take 1 - 1/2 to completely heal or I may never get the feeling back. Still have tightness feeling in back of knee and some days my calf is still tight like I have done calf raises for days and now I have feeling like water is running down my behind or as my doctor's medical assistant calls it "water in the crack" feeling. He told me the feeling is normal but that it means I irritated the nerve and need to get the swelling down. I took the ibuprofen like told for 3 days like he told me which seemed to make the sensation go away but now a day of not taking and I am back to the "feeling". I am experiencing extreme anxiety thinking I have reinjured or something is wrong and am afraid to call the dr's office. I have 3 kids 5 and under to take care of and a husband who travels constantly. Has anyone ever experienced this and does it go away or is it something to be concerned with? They suggested I take Celebrex instead of Ibuprofen because I have been taking for extended period of time but Pharmacist questioned the celebrex which also made me apprehensive.
