hi,there is paucity of data regarding combination of two, both of these drugs are indicated in stroke patients as they work by inhibiting platelet aggregation,hence chances of clot formation is less.
But there is lot of data regarding beneficial effect of combination of aspirin and plavix.Adding another antiplatelet agent(dypridamole in aggrenox) to already prescribed antiplatelets(aspirin and plavix) may or maynot be additive but chances of bleeding will definitely increase.
