Alternate Treatments

by Rod123, Nov 09, 2009 10:39PM
I had a Grand Mal Seizure two years ago where i was sleeping and went into it. Because of my job I had to report going to ER where a CAT scan was done, no problems noted. After reporting it I saw a Neurologist but I lied and said I had a head injury. I know bad... but i would have lost my job. I had an EEG and MRI with nothing noted. I had a follow up MRI one year later with contrast again with no problems. However, during that year period I have had 6-7 seizures. Over the last year I have been just dealing with it. I have been having them every 4 weeks. I have been track it. Sometimes I can wake up and get myself out of it but other times I know I am not going to be able so I lay down. It ***** and is really scary.  I wake up just before they happen and then I go into it the whole arms locked out and tongue biting thing. They last about 2 minutes acording to my wife. I only have them during sleep either a nap in the afternoon or at night.
I guess the question is: Is there any treatment for this without drugs?
