Amantadine Response

Over the last 3 yrs I have been suffering from an undiagnosed neurological illness.  This has included many signs of MS and other similar afflictions. All testing has proved negative, however my neurologist belives my illness to be real and has given me Amantadine for the fatigue. I was lucky that it also helped with my tremors along with the stiffness in my legs.  It is my understanding that this is given to people with Parkinsons for tremors and Multiple Sclerosis for fatigue as well as for viral indications.  
Since I have benefitted so much from this medicine does this mean I have one of these illnesses not yet diagnosed or do otherwise healthy people receive such wonderful benefits as well?
