Amino Acids

Amino Acids

I recently had an amino acid urine and the results came back normal even though I had several flagged as high or low, and several at 0.

Flagged as high and low:
                                      Mine                        Min                 Max           Flagged
Aspartic Acid                   242                          18                   62                 High
Leucine                           18                            27                   97                 Low
Lysine                             523                          62                  513                High
Valine                             24                            27                  115                Low

Not flagged but resulted in 0 levels:  Arginine, Citrulline, Hydroxyproline, Isoleucine, and Proline
Not detected:  Homocystine

I have had several tests to include labwork, PET scan, EEG, MRI of the brain and the doctors cannot find anything wrong.  The PET scan showed abnormal metabolism.  The EEG and MRI were normal.   Though there was obviously some sort of loss of muscle control during the EEG, but the tests at that point stated.."slow buildup during hyperventilation"  The doctor suggested a video eeg and an MRI of the C-spine and L-spine.

My symptoms incude:  memory recall problems, confusion,  slow motor response, lack of motivation, loss of energy, fight or fligh reponse activated, numbness and trembling in head, pulling of muscles, menstrual cycle abnormalties, physical hair and skin changes

After further research I wanted to have an amino acid test.  I will be having a plasma amino acid test tomorrow.  My questions:

How do you interpret my amino acid test results?
Can a plasma amino acid test come back abnormal after a urine test resulted as normal?
Is amino acid testing subjective?
What type of doctor do I see who interprets, diagnoses, and treats based on amino acids?
Also, can certain pharmaceuticals drugs alter amino acid levels?
Are there any other blood tests or other tests that could be performed?

Any help or comments are appreciated.
