Angelman Syndrome

Should I have my son tested for Angelman syndrome or am I just being a paranoid mom.  My son is currently being seen by a neurologist, for the "Shudders" as well as fine motor funtion and general motor function delays he is currently in physical therapy for his delays as well as therapy with a vision therapist with the blind association because he is far sited. He was diagnosed with reflux when he was about 4 months old and put on Zantac he is now 10 1/2 months and still spits up a lot.  He is extremely happy almost all of the time. The first time I actually heard him cry was around 6 months old and still does not do it very often.  He has had a EEG, Catscan and MRI and all three came back normal. He was born about a month early because of pressure on the brain seen in ultra sound, but was able to come home with me from the hospital. My sister mentioned this syndrome to me and it even says the only way it can be detected this early is by blood tests but I don't want my son getting stuff with another needle if he doesn't need to.  If he does have this I would need to watch him for seizure activiy once he gets around 2 or 3 and that would be nice to know.

Thanks
