Ankle Clonus

Ankle Clonus

I recently went to the chiropractor for a back problem I was having, (my lower back started to hurt with no trauma) the chiropractor did an initial evaluation and told me that I have bilateral ankle clonus. My ankle jumped 6 times total on the right side and about 4-5 times on the left side, I was informed that this could be nothing or it could be a sign of something neurological. I haven't gone to the doctor yet because as far as I know I have no other symptoms and have never had my lower reflexes tested so I am unsure as to how long I may have had ankle clonus. My concern is that after reading a little about ankle clonus I saw that it may possibly be a sign of ALS and my grandmother was recently diagnosed with ALS about a year ago. I am wondering if I should go to the doctor or neurologist. Or if I have no other symptoms if it is safe to just ignore and go on with daily life.

Thank you in advance for your help.
