Annoying light pain, numbness & tingling - right shoulder blade area down to fingers

Just wondering if I have a pinched nerve? I am an active 33yr old female. My problem is when I am walking, the right side of my shoulder blade area(the tip close to my spine) starts to hurt- not too bad but enough to make me want to push on the area to make it stop. Eventually my right arm and down to my fingers start to tingle/numbing feeling- just really annoying. Strange thing is that when I run it doesnt happen? Help me!

Hi,

It seems to be a cervical spine (neck) nerves irritation since it causes symptoms like arm numbness and shoulder blades. Treatment options include cervical collar, pain killer etc. Please consult a neurologist for a better insight. Hope it helps.

Maybe you are not having these symptoms when you are running because of the positioning of your arms vs walking.

I would recommend imaging, i.e. MRI and a Neuro consult.  Sounds like a possible pinched nerve.
