Anxiety or MS?

by mamasof4, Oct 17, 2009 07:49PM
3 years I had a twitch above my left knee and lower back pain. It last a few days and so I went to the dr. Who was not concerned at all. A day or 2 after my appointment I started getting twitches all over my body. They were constant and random. I also had pain in my neck and shoulders. I was SURE I had MS. The dr. ordered an MRI to ease my mind which of course came back normal. It lingered on and eventually went away. Last week that same muscle in my leg started twitching and then I started getting the random twitches all over again, but nothing like last time. It's been just a few here and there. I have pain in my neck and shoulders again. Everyone thinks its anxiety. I think that dr.s tend to use that excuse more often than they should. What is your opinion? Do you think it could possibly be MS?
